Tropical Biology Course

Hi everyone
As mentioned by Prof. Ricardo, the DBA is an associate of the Tropical Biology Association (TBA) (http://www.tropical-biology.org/). As an associate, DBA students will have priority access to TBA courses, as well as cost savings. So, if anyone is interested here is the disclosure of this year's course.
The month-long field course will be held at Mpala Research Centre, Kenya from 12th August to 6th September 2022. TBA will be following relevant and national covid guidance for all their activities in Kenya. For more details click here Kenya-field-course or Kenya 2022
TBA courses are an excellent opportunity for students to learn first-hand about tropical ecology and conservation from internationally renowned biologists and gain practical field-based experience. Uniquely, TBA gives half of the course places to European students and half to students from the host region, creating a dynamic and multi-cultural mix.
TBA is looking for students who have completed at least three years of their first degree in a biological science, who have a genuine interest in tropical ecology and are keen to learn new ideas.
All European students are eligible for a British Ecological Society scholarship. The TBA field courses are equivalent to approximately 10 credits under the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
Member institutions get priority places for their students and a 25% discount on the course fee.
