Target species – Biomodels #1

The following discipline topic (Target species – Biomodels #1) will be addressed in the theoretical lesson: i) Brief Introduction; ii) Atlantic sea urchin (Paracentrotus lividus); iii) Common intertidal amphipod (Gammarus locusta); iv) Dwarf seagrass (Zostera noltei); v) Sea squirt (Ciona intestinalis) and vi) Blue mussel (Mytilus edulis). A video (entitled “Shellfish UK”) addressing the theme of the T lesson will be presented. The T lesson will be presented by Dr Tiago Repolho. An invited speaker, i.e. Dr Marta Pimentel (MARE/FCUL) will perform an oral presentation on the topic "Fish larvae and Auxiliary cultures: Scientific Applicability's".
