In this class I will give an overview of the skills and experience I have gained since the beginning of my university career in 2012 with my Bachelors, until today, working towards my Doctorate. The learning objectives will be:

·       To convey my experience with a PhD so far

·       To understand the theory of Plate tectonics

·       To understand the difference and relationship between the Wilson cycle and the Supercontinent cycle

·       How tides are affected by tectonics

·       What makes Earth habitable and bio/geo/chemically complex
