The innate immunity inducers and sensors. PAMPS & DAMPS. Families of PRRs: Soluble receptors-Complement; integral protein receptors-TLRs, cytosolic DNA and RNA receptors and the sequestosome.
TLR signaling in the epithelia and mucosa. Mediators and effectors of innate immunity sensors: cells and secretion of antimicrobial peptides.
NF-KB induced pro-inflammatory cytokines (TNFα, IL1β, IL-6, IL-12, IL-18, Il-33). Type II interferon IFNγ.
IRF induced antiviral response: type I and III interferons. Cytosolic receptors for sensing intracellular pathogens: NLRs, RNA sensors, DNA sensors. Response via inflammasomes. The antiviral response via STING, MAVS.
