Measurement of far-UV CD spectra of proteins/peptides (Myoglobin and poly-Lysine). Circular dichroism spectra of "pure" secondary structures. Use far-UV CD to determine amounts of secondary structure in proteins by generate basis sets by determining spectra of pure a-helix, b-sheet, etc. of poly-Lysine. Data analysis. Secondary structure determination and protein stability.
