The students took a multiple-choice test of 68 questions regarding all the topics given and discussed during lectures up to the Easter break. A total time of 2h and 20 minutes (T + TP hours) were given to solve the quiz.

This lecture was dedicated to solving questions and doubts that the students had prior to taking the mid-term exam on  April 23rd, 2020. The discussion also included the format of the exam and its weight on the final grade of the course.

Description of the importance of our own Sun:


 - it validates any model for stars, i.e any star model has first to fit our own Sun;
 - it is the closest star and provides detailed information of its atmosphere and corona.

Description of the modern models that best describe our Sun
Discussion on the pulsation modes of the Sun: helioseismology
Detailed description of the Solar atmosphere and corona.
Description of the composition of the Sun's composition.
Brief description of the solar granulation (convection), the magnetic field in the Sun, and the Solar cycle.
