1. Understand the global workflow for the analysis of NGS data;
2. Understand the standard quality control steps performed on the raw data using FastQC;
3. Become acquainted with the Galaxy platform;
4. Be able to perform a basic analysis of NGS data on this platform - from QC to genome alignment.
