NMR methods and molecular modeling protocols to disclose the features that govern glycan-receptor interactions. NMR Analysis in ligand-protein Interactions. Slow and fast brownian motion. Structural perturbations are reflected by changes in a variety of NMR observable sincluding: chemical shifts, NOEs, coupling constants and diffusion coefficients. Use of line broadening to detect ligand binding. Diffusion editing experiments. Saturation Transfer Difference NMR (STD-NMR) .TR-NOESY and the bioactive conformation. Combining NMR data with Molecular Modelling. Case studies.
